Non-governmental organization “Georgia Development Platform” (GeoDP) with the financial support of “Friedrich Ebert Foundation” (FES) will implement the project “Development of Universal Health Insurance Policy of Georgia”.

The project envisages an in-depth and comprehensive assessment of the current performance of the Georgian health care system, an analysis of the current situation in the field of health insurance, and a study of international experience in the field of health care. Expert studies will be conducted with representatives of health economics and insurance.

“Georgia Development Platform” (GeoDP) will present the universal health insurance policy document to the general public as a final document and will officially address the Georgian government with recommendations regarding the reform of the health sector.
